A Vascularized Lymph Node Tranfer (VLNTx) is microsurgical procedure where normal lymph nodes and their associated adipose tissue is transf2242ed to a region of the body that suffers from lymphedema.

The process attempts to decrease limb size, and reduce subjective symptoms of heaviness, achiness and fatigue.

Can potentially reduce daily compression requirements of management.

Attempts to slow progression of the disease.

The procedure transfers normal lymph nodes and perinodal fat containing essential stem cells, adipocytes, and macrophages with their native blood supply to promote normal repair process in the direct region of prior injury.
