Tooth pain

Sharp or aching pain in or around the tooth.

Caused by irritation of the nerves within the roots of teeth related to dental caries,, infections of the dental pulp, fractures of the crown and root of the tooth, periodontal gum disease and bone infections or inflammation of wisdom teeth.

Generally dental caries and gum diseases become painful, only after internal dental structures are injured.
