Sinus tachycardia

Sinus tachycardia is gradually in onset and recession.

With sinus tachycardia heart rate is regular and does not exceed 220 beats per minute minus the patient’s age.

P waves precede the QRS complex.

Sinus tachycardia is the most common supraventricular tachycardia, and it is a non-pathologic arrhythmia, but it is a cardiac response to a physiological event.
