Critical diameter associated with dysphagia 11-13mm.
Patients with ring greater than 18-mm are asymptomatic.
Tendency for the diameter of the ring to decrease over time and a 1mm decrease in diameter associated with a 46% increase in the likelihood of dysphagia.
