Patients may present with acute flank pain, gross hematuria, acute renal insufficiency or they may be asymptomatic.
May be associated with nephrotic syndrome, particularly with membranous glomerulonephropathy (37%), membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis (26%), and minimal change disease (24%).
