Orbit arterial supply

The common carotid artery bifurcates at the C4-C5 region and the external carotid artery supplies blood to the orbit, dura and cranial nerves.

The external carotid artery branches to the orbit include he facial artery and angular artery branch, the occipital artery, the superficial temporal artery, the internal maxillary artery, the middle meningeal artery, the anterior deep temporal artery and the infraorbital artery.
