Side effects after limb perfusion include regional skin toxicity ranging from erythema and edema, blistering, necrosis of the extremity, ankle stiffness, muscle atrophy, 5% incidence of deep vein thrombosis, 5-8% long-term peripheral neuropathy and myopathy.
