Generalized increased hair growth that occurs from hereditary abnormalities or from the use of medications such associated glucocorticoids, phenytoins, minoxidil or cyclosporine.
Hair is distributed in a nonsexual generalized manner and is not related the excess androgens although the situation may be worsened by additional androgens.
