Vaccination at 2 months, 4 months, 6 months provide 70%-80% protection, therefore a fourth dose is often added between 15 and 18 months.

Tdap vaccine for tetanus toxoid, reduced deiptheria toxoid and acellular pertussis vaccine (Tdap) for individuals aged 10-64 as a single dose booster immunization.

Adolescents 11-18 who have completed childhood DTP vaccination series should receive a single dose Tdap instead of tetanus and diptheria toxoids (Td).

For adults 19-64 a single dose og Tdap will replace Td boosters.
