It reduced treated bleeds by up to 99% compared to on-demand treatment, offering flexible weekly or monthly dosing.
It acts as a factor VIII-mimetic, bridging factor IXa and factor X to restore thrombin generation and promote blood clotting.
In the FRONTIER2 study, patients on monthly denecimig experienced 99% fewer treated bleeds than those on-demand, and 43% fewer than those on prior prophylaxis.
Administration: It is designed for subcutaneous injection via a pen device, allowing for weekly, every-two-weeks, or monthly dosing.
Safety: The drug was well-tolerated in trials, with no safety concerns like thromboembolic events reported.
