Rare benign tumors with tendency to recur over several years after initial presentation.
May be solid or cystic, or both, and can occur in association with the Von Hippel-Lindau disease or sporadically.
When associated with Von Hippel-Lindau hemangioblastomas are multiple and progressive, where sporadic lesions or generally solitary.
