Cardiopulmonary arrest with pulseless electical activity

With pulseless electrical activity characterized by organized electrical activity without a measurable blood pressure or a palpable pulse.

Causes include: cardiac tamponade, hypovolemia, acidosis, tension pneumothorax, electrolyte disturbances, hypoxia, myocardial infarction, pulmonary embolism and drug overdose.

Survival rate of 0-5%.
