RenovoCath

RenovoCath is an FDA-cleared, double-balloon catheter system made by RenovoRx designed to deliver localized treatments directly to solid tumors like pancreatic cancer.

It’s a dual-balloon infusion catheter that delivers drugs (typically chemotherapy) directly into arteries near a tumor, rather than throughout the whole body via IV

It is designed to deliver therapy across the arterial wall near a tumor site while potentially reducing toxicity compared to systemic IV treatment.

Uses two small adjustable balloons to isolate blood flow in the artery closest to a tumor.

Infuses chemotherapy right into the isolated target area.

Keeps high concentrations of medicine at the cancer site.

Lowers the amount of medicine traveling through the rest of the body.

Reduces standard side effects compared to regular whole-body intravenous chemotherapy.

It’s indicated for isolating blood flow and delivering fluids — including diagnostic and therapeutic agents — to selected sites in the peripheral vascular system, as well as temporary vessel occlusion for arteriography, preoperative occlusion, and chemotherapeutic drug infusion.
