A topical dressing that absorbs drainage and contains a low level of silver that aids in killing bacteria.
This dressing reacts with the drainage in the wound to form a gel which provides a moist wound-healing environment.
Indicated for abrasions, donor sites, full-thickness wounds, partial-thickness wounds, pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers and venous ulcers.
The dressing is cut to the size of the wound bed.
Sterile normal saline is used if the wound has none or little drainage.
The dressing is applied it over the wound bed and covered with a semi-occlusive or a non-occlusive dressing.
